CCTV Surveillance : JVC showcases advanced IP network range

IFSEC shall see the biggest ever display of network equipment including the VR-N900U network video recorder, IP cameras and encoders

“We are delighted to be offering such an advanced range of equipment and look forward to welcoming our customers to our stand and introducing them to our range of new products made for quality and reliability” comments Yash Patel, Executive Director, CCTV Europe at JVC Professional Europe.

Network video recording for analogue and IP-based security systems with the VR-N900U

Available for purchase now, the 9-channel VR-N900U network video recorder (NVR) shall be on display. The unit utilises front panel controls that security operators will find easy to use. It works with both analogue and IP cameras and is ready to use straight from the box with no additional software and network servers being required. Multiple VR-N900Us can also be connected via a standard Network and for larger systems multiple NVRs can be connected to Network Servers.

The NVR automatically configures itself to operate with supported IP cameras, network encoders and up to 4 analogue cameras. The open protocol nature of the NVR allows for integration of 3rd party systems such as access control, remote monitoring, POS or ATM. Milestone Xprotect software is embedded within the NVR for ease of use and seamless operation.

Two new IP-network Dome Cameras with Power over Ethernet (PoE)

JVC’s first vandal resistant IP-network dome camera, the VN-C215VP4U and the VN-C215V4U indoor dome camera shall make a debut at IFSEC 2007. Both cameras have a 3.6 x built-in variable focal length iris lens ( f 2.8 – 10mm )

The Easy Day/Night function enables clear and well-defined images in colour and black-and-white to be captured 24/7. A triple axis rotation mechanism and mounting device also simplifies installation.

Both cameras record images at a maximum high-speed frame rate of 30fps in VGA resolution (640x480) using a MotionJPEG compression. Camera set-up and viewing of images can be achieved using a standard web browser over the internet or via SMTP or FTP. Both cameras use PoE functionality, according to the IEEE 802.3af standard, which reduces installation costs and consolidates the power source to a central location. AC24V power can also be used.

Both of the 215 series IP network dome cameras as well as the VN-C20U (A) static camera utilises progressive image scanning for the production of crisp, clear images. The VN-C20U(A) camera also has the ability to use Power over Ethernet (PoE) ensuring easy installation.

The fully- functional VN-C655U IP network dome camera, super-slim VN-C625U dome camera and the VN-E4 4-channel network encoder will also be showcased.

High-resolution LCD and CRT Monitors for all applications
JVC will be showing a range of CRT and LCD monitors, ranging in size from 10-inches to 21-inches and including the recently introduced 15-inch LCD monitor, model LM-150 and a 17-inch monitor, model LM-170.

True Day & Night Cameras from JVC for 24-hour seamless operation
JVC will also be showing their latest analogue camera product introductions. This includes four new Day and Night cameras. The new models include:
- TK-C925E (AC24V/DC12V)
- TK-C926E (AC220-24V)
- TK-C1530E (AC24V/DC12V)
- TK-C1531EG (AC220-24V)

JVC has added an intuitive monitor mode whereby users can select a LCD or CRT display that perfectly matches the camera output. A user-selectable scene memory is incorporated in the TK-C1530E and TK-C1531EG cameras making them ideal for applications such as automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) whereby a memory setting can be set to trigger a fast shutter speed.

Used by many installation companies, JVC’s current range of static & PTZ 1/3-inch to ½-inch high resolution surveillance cameras shall also be on display. Popular models include the reliable TK-C920E series, TK-C1480 series, TK-C1430 and TK-WD310EB, static cameras and the TK-C215 series mini-domes, TK-C655EB and TK-C676EB dome cameras..
